Something for everyone!
Thank you for your interest in our furniture. We are excited to collaborate with you to build you the perfect piece to complement your space. All our furniture is custom created and built to your specifications. So, if you don’t see what you are looking for on our website, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us to see if we can make it specific for you—some of our most fun, beautiful projects have been driven by the creativity of our customers.
Steel
Steel pipes legs: Please note the industrial nature of our designs. The raw steel pipes we use are commercial grade, often stored in large warehouses and some pieces may develop a rusty patina or contain imperfections that originated at the steel manufacturing facility. None of this impacts the structural integrity of the materials. That being said, be aware that some cleaning products you use to clean the floor around the table legs may cause rust.
Hairpin legs: A sturdy twist on the classic mid-century modern style hairpin leg built from solid 3/8" or 1/2" diameter raw or stainless steel. Raw steel is unfinished but sprayed with a thin protective coat. We recommend protecting the legs from exposure to water and chemicals.
Wood
Solid wood boards: Please keep in mind that each rustic piece is unique and original, handmade by our team at our location. Our tables are made from Douglas Fir and are sealed so that you won’t have to worry about ring stains, water marks, etc. We like to create furniture that people can not only enjoy, but also use every single day.
Solid wood furniture has natural characteristics like all variety of knots/knot holes/hairline cracks/milling imperfections/etc. You will see natural character on the table top. We cannot control for natural variations of the wood as we are using solid wood lumber and not mdf/plywood or any other engineered/manufactured lumber. Natural character is not considered a defect, but something to be celebrated.
All pieces have been sanded without jeopardizing the natural beauty that mother nature has inflicted on the wood. When staining the wood, the stain will be applied evenly, however, the wood may absorb it differently leaving it with an rustic and distressed look. We stand by our work and our goal is to create tables that will last. Please do understand that wood is a natural element and is subject to seasonal changes and therefore it can shrink, expand, warp, crack, etc. This is just the nature of wood, and a minimal amount is to be expected. But if it is excessive, we will fix it. We do not cover general wear and tear.
